Whipping Up a Decadent Mother’s Day Treat
Hi Everyone! I just got back from grocery shopping at Le Bistro where I picked up all the ingredients to make my mom the most awesome Mother’s Day gift! Well okay, I actually mailed my mother chocolate covered drizzled gourmet strawberries (because she truly is the greatest mom eva!) … but stick with me here……
Baking on Second Life is a snap with Le Bistro! I chose these cake pops since they are a mom favorite and look stunning! There is nothing better than making a gift that looks as if it came from a gourmet shop! First of all the ingredients are already added to the bowl, so there is no mess and no fuss (Unlike past cooking disasters 😛 )! A few clicks and you are mixing your little heart out… you can actually see the batter form! Another click pours the batter in the pan and off to your pixel oven!
This is my favorite part of cooking. That perfect moment when the room fills with the aroma of sweet cake. Ah breath it in…. no calories… so breath deep! Smell-o-vision would be good at this point… hmm an aroma hud!
After the cake cools you simply roll out the sheet and with a few more clicks apply the icing and cover them with decorations! Oh la la… almost better than Barbie and your Easy Bake Oven!

It’s a Mad World….
Gopu and I were checking out the super cool monochromatic NV Madworld sim art and I snapped some pictures as we played on the dangerous boxes and teased the black crow in the shop. Ah… now that is living on the edge! We will definitely be returning to take photos outside in the surreal landscape. Fantastic white grass, floating bubbles, drops of suspended water and dark abstract art. Swing by and check it out if you haven’t it is a great place for a photo shoot.
This Pre-Release round’s theme is Designers Choice and there is a virtual smorgasbord of designs awaiting your lindens! Every item at Pre-Release is 125L or less … more bang for your buck! I adore this tied top and skirt outfit from FireBird Designs! The skull on the mesh shirt stole my little pixel heart! Smexy! I am also wearing Pre-Release jewelry from Pheobe and Pomposity. A fabulous lady bug ring and a scorpion necklace that dangerously hangs between my girls. I’m smitten!
Gopu’s dotted shirt is also from this round of Pre-Release. The mesh shirt is extremely well made and the texture is unbelievably realistic in world. Doesn’t he look hot! Smirk

An Element of Fire
I was feeling a bit sassy and vibrant today so I put together this red outfit that combines my recent Gacha scores and sweet heels by Demented Dreamworx from the Pre-Release Event. The heels are a great deep ruby red color and have a small butterfly on the right toe – sweet! They are super comfortable as well and since they are at Pre-Release they are a steal! But you better hurry as the event ends in just a few days! Speaking of steals…. have you been to the Arcade Gacha Event yet? The event certainly lives up to it’s name as it got-me going right and left (after everything finally rezzed!) I was determined to get this red skirt and after 6 attempts I was still crimson free! Thankfully I got a PM and snatched one up at a Flea Market and put my duplicates up for sale. Whew! I adore the Honey Bee necklace by Max Gossamer and after 3 tries I had my cherry amber pendant! And the aDorkable poses are absolutely brilliant!

Gopu and I were playing around with Windlight settings and I decided to get dressed an shoot some images for the 2013 Oscar Fashion Photo Contest hosted by Around the Grid with Harper.
I adore the way this gown by Mohna Lisa Couture looks on Duchess. The bottom of the dress flows effortlessly as she struts her stuff and surprisingly I found the glitter to be fun (I originally thought it would be pretty annoying.) The dress comes in different strengths of opacity and I chose the Nude version…. go figure!
I am never quite satisfied with the updos I have come across but this sophisticated hair designed by A&A is perfect! It has a color changing flower on the side which I have shaded to black. The earrings are a new release from Zaara and they have a little exotic flair and are definitely unique…. perfect for this couture gown!
