My third and final entry for the the Hair Fair Photo Contest. This image was a lot of fun to put together and I think it represents Casablanca well. I am inspired by love. I am a sap for romance, love songs, surprise roses, holding hands, small boxes wrapped in clever paper, good night kisses on the forehead and hearts. I cry during romance movies….. yep, a sap. Voulez Vous Coucher …..
It’s week 25 for the 50 Shades of Sexy Blogger Challenge and this week’s theme is “Voulez vous coucher avec moi, ce soir.” Shamefully, this is probably the first French phrase I learned as a kid and I sang it loud and proud for months before I even knew the translation….maybe even years…. then I more than likely sang it louder… cause that is how I rolled….. (smirk) I chose this French Lingerie set by TLC Boutique to fulfill this challenge. The set comes complete with a smexy black fur coat that pulls the entire outfit together and gives an old world Hollywood scarlet feel. Ladies if you have someone you want to impress…. look no farther…. this French lingerie set will make them putty in your hands!
The coat comes off to reveal a super swanky sheer lingerie set complete with lace stockings. The craftsmanship is flawless. My favorite part is the sheer top surrounded by delicate lace. The World According to Wine
After a long exhausting day of gardening and installing the awesome sauce kitchen in the new house, Sassy and I grabbed Gopu’s bottle of wine and hit the kitchen and …. well… the bottle. Sassy began making her famous fried chicken while I played bartender in my sweet little dress by FireBird Designs courtesy of this round of Pre-Release! The knife wielding Sassy is wearing new lingerie from Death Rocker Betty Crocker (how appropriate!) that is also available at Pre-Release. I spent most of the night clicking on all the interactive counters, dishes, food, utensils and poses… our sim is coming right along…. and I am loving my sweet kitchen!!

Dupu’s Isle of Dreams
We’ve been spending the last week revamping our sim and moving in to our new home, the Chateau La Lutiniere. I absolutely adore our new abode! The lavish textures and attention to detail really sets this build apart from all the countless builds I’ve encountered. I knew before I hit the top step… it was THE one! I couldn’t be happier. Chateau La Lutiniere is the creation of builders BlueSean Yiyan and Silex Zapedzki who have brought magnificent high quality haunted houses to the grid…. and now this fabulous French castle that is every princess’s dream! Our sim is no where near completion but I wanted to take a few portrait shots to line our halls…. and I just love these outfits…. so I decided to plaster them up here for all to see. The dress is a real show shopper (literally I was stopped 4 times and asked where it was from when we ran into the Armory for a moment!) and the outfit Gopu is wearing is fit for any duke!

Memories of Earth Day 2013
We spent Earth Day in the beautiful mountains and then came home and celebrated with our Second Life friends and Pre-Release!!! I found this poem while on a wooded trail and wanted to share it here. Hope you had a great Earth Day!

I am the Earth

Mermaid Diaries: Chapter One (Con’t)
Duchess laid motionless on the edge of the surf following a brutal marathon swim that ended at the land of Loki. She felt a presence but was too washed-out to care and again the world went dark.
Gentle arms encircled her body and she was slowly lifted out of the water. A soothing voice entranced her and she awoke in the arms of her hero.

Chapter One: Mermaid Diaries
Duchess circled the cave twice with a heavy heart and as she reached the opening she couldn’t help but turn back. Sadness crept though her like an ink spot in calm water slowly enveloping her courage.
The rays of sunlight that penetrated the deep waters beckoned her upward. Ahead laid the greatest journey of her long life. With the strength of Zeus in her fins and Aphrodite in her heart, Duchess left the safe sanctuary of her abode.
Slowly she ascended from the depths of the cold dark sea following her heart upward to the oxygen filled world of the finless creatures known to those in the deep as Loki.
Duchess raised her hands to the sun breaking the surf …. her fingers dripped with freedom.

Wonderland
Gopu and I headed off last night to Two Moon Paradise’s Alice Venue to catch the smooth tunes of one of our favorite live performers, Maxmillion Kleene! In keeping with the theme of the evening we dressed in our most mellowy mushroomesque Wonderland attire. I was the ever adorable Alice and Gopu wore the very fitting Mad Hatter role. First I want to say I adore this LeLutka hair! The hair flows so beautifully in-world and it barely had to be edited for the photos…if at all! You can wear the hair with or without the ribbon and the ribbon is equipped with a spiffy color changer! I will definitely wear this hair again and again…. on Alice-days and on not-so-Alice days! Also, the Alice dress by Deviance has to be one of the nicest Wonderland outfits on the grid! If you are looking for an Alice in Wonderland outfit, look no further…. my leg work was exhausting but the result was sublime!
“It was much pleasanter at home,” thought poor Alice, “when one wasn’t always growing larger and smaller, and being ordered about by mice and rabbits.
I almost wish I hadn’t gone down the rabbit-hole–and yet–and yet–…”
Since we had some time before the show we went to two older SIMS that are both at the top of our list of favs and rode (well… walked b/c we couldn’t get the gondola to rez! LOL!) the Alice in Wonderland Dark Ride (Black Pearl Beach) and reminisced at Steelhead Nevermoor.
“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” I remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the giant Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad. Gopu’s mad.”
“How do you know we’re mad?” I asked.
“You must be,” said the Cat as he reached down and swatted Gopu, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”
“Everything’s got moral. If only you can find it.
